This is a song that I play on the way home from any place I'm travelling. It's a tradition that began when going to concerts with my friend Carrie Duty. She and I had so much fun going to many contemporary Christian concerts back in the day :) We would play this song when we hit a certain town on the way home...it meant we were close. Once I would drop her off, I would play this on repeat until I got home, because it was a great song to keep me awake :)

This is a special song because it reminds me of my niece Maddie. She is a special girl in my life. Very inspiring and so much fun to have around me. She's an encouragement and someone who loves music as much as I do. I am so thankful that she is in my life. She introduced me to this song and it was introduced at just the right time, because I needed the reminder that God is in control of my life and I want to do what He leads me to do. My niece Maddie has this desire and I'm thankful of her life encouraging me to persue this too :)
I love you Maddie!!!

This song is known as my signature song for me to sing. Anytime people have heard me sing it they request it more. At one time that wasn't a big deal for me, but now it's a really hard song for me to sing. In fact I couldn't figure why people enjoyed hearing the song so much, but finally God allowed for me to get hit with a big storm in my life where I knew what life being hard and knowing that God was good was all about.
Since that storm this song is hard for me to get through without crying. Mainly because I do know that God is good even when life is crashing it's storms on me. Knowing that He is in the midst of it, helps me to know I can make it through it.
Hope you enjoy :)

So I skipped Day 2 for this challenge because it was of a song that I didn't like. If I don't like a song, why would I post something for it to be played???? Didn't make sense to me, so I skipped it.
Today's song is "Move" by Mercy Me. It's a song that makes me happy :) I love this song because it makes me smile and want to move. I think it's a great song to change a mood. Plus it's has a Bee Gee's sound at the bridge :)
Hope you enjoy :)

Over the next 30 days I'm going to be sharing some different songs.
Day 1 - My favorite song. I struggle with choosing a favorite song, because I love music. Music is a big part of my life and it's hard for me to choose a favorite song, but this song by Natalie Grant is a favorite of mine. I have liked it since I first heard it.

So my niece wrote a quote from this song on her facebook and I looked up the song. Really enjoyed it. Thought I'd share with you :)
